Bill Livingstone is North America's most successful competitive piper ever, and the only piper to both win the Gold Medals at Oban and Inverness, the Clasp at Inverness, and be the Pipe Major of a World Championship band.
Bill is the Pipe Major of the Scottish Lion 78th Fraser Highlanders who have won the North American Championship many times, the World Championship in 1987, and have produced a series of recordings.
Bill has produced a series of piobairaechd recordings called A Piobaireachd Diary on which he plays some of his favourite tunes and discusses the instruction he has had from various masters. He has also published two music books containing both his own compositions and those of others.
