2A.  Ken Eller.  Achieving Steady Tone.  Players will learn this fundamental skill through the use of modern technology and blowing exercises.  Bring your bagpipe and a tuning meter if you have one.

2B.  Bill Livingstone.  Improving Players.  Players will observe Bill as he instructs pipers using the music they currently play.  To become one of the players instructed, contact Geoff Neigh.

2C.  Jim McGillivray.  Rythmic Fingerwork.  Jim will instruct players in exercises from his book in order to allow them to play better music.  These exercises were one of the foundations of Jim's competitive career.  Practice chanter required.

2D.  Ed Neigh.  Slow Airs.  A very popular session in U.S. workshops.  Using slow airs, players will learn the key rhythm points of simple and compound time which are the basis  of all march playing.  Practice chanter required.

2F.  Jake Watson.  Medley Construction.  Players will learn the principles of the successful construction of medleys and march medleys for lower grade bands.  A question and answer fromat will allow players to get input on their plans for next year.  Bring your music and ideas.

2G.  Bob Worrall.  Sr. MSR.  A session for intermediate and advanced players on phrasing the competitive light music.  Players must register in advance and will be sent music.  Practice chanter required.
